Tom Launhardt is a real person and Germanys most gifted luthier with almost 20 years of dedicated quality work in his ‘masterluthier workshop’. His wide range of experience is documented in excellent Electric-, Acoustic-, Classical- and Archtop-Guitars and players of ‘world-reknown’ are happy to be amongst his customers.
PUPS
AER’s involvement into Tom Launhardt Guitars made us look for serious, specialist support in Korea… and we found it. Original materials, care for details and the experience to convert vage despriptions into serious tone helped us a lot to equip Tom Launhardt guitars with AER magnets pickups that reproduce the tone of the originals.
The pickups are ‘slow wound’ to come as close to hand wound as possible and waxed at low temperatures over a long time to avoid mircophonic effects.
So far we have three standard guitar models and their pickups but we will extend the range a bit … not to confuse you too much … but to add more colour to the fog. They are separately available.
